When using the Keephub platform, you have all the tools available to make all work-related, ‘need to know’ information easily accessible. We can make sure that all content like manuals are at a digital, easy-to-access location. With useful tools like the manuals module and the FAQ module, basically, all answers to all questions are at the employee’s disposal!
But… having all these tools at your disposal is not without risks. Before we realise it we’ve managed to collect an information overload and the employee will be looking for that well-known needle in a haystack.
So, where did it go wrong?
For the employee it is crystal clear: “I’ve got a simple question and I’m looking at the obvious place, so why can’t I find the answer in 2, 3 clicks?” The answer to this question is just as simple.
Even though the search process has been transformed from physical search (printed manuals) to digital and then evolved to ‘visual’ search (scanning text, prefer explanations in animation or video), the way the information is presented has not been transformed. Although manuals are digitally available; the content type, often lengthy PDFs, is not the type the user likes to consume.
